Famous CT Witch ancestor of SI Benhams and Johnsons - Alice Austen House

My ancestor Winifred King Benham was tried three times as a witch in Connecticut but never convicted. Known as the "Witch of Wallingford", she was the last woman tried as a witch in New England.

Baseball/ Football

My father played both baseball and football on the Island pre 1960. I've been told he even played for the Stapleton Stapes. I would appreciate any info on this. His name was Edward Stoltzenberg.

Does anybody remember that great old bowling alley in Richmond Terrace "Madalones" - It was right down the block from the Bayonne Ferry Pier.
